The Seagull S6 is made in LaPatrie, Quebec Canada. Seagulls are known for using great woods.
The top is cedar and the back and sides are a wild cherry laminate. The cedar top is far mellower than other woods, but it also has higher volume. The neck is made of silver leaf maple.
This guitar is a very popular “workhorse” among players. The neck is slightly wider than most. This makes it easy to play fingerstyle or with a pick.
I use Elixir 80/20 Bronze Nanoweb strings. Gauge is 12-53
